Tuna & Ventresca

At Yummy Bazaar, we carry tuna from all around the world. Artisanal United States, Spanish, Italian, and Korean tuna products form our extensive tuna collection. Our selection includes some of the best canned tuna and jarred tuna in the world. Brands such as Callipo, Ortiz, and Rio Mare are renowned for the quality and flavor of their tuna products. We even offer the highly prized Ventresca or tuna belly. This luscious portion is the crème de la crème of tuna cuts. Callipo Gold Reserve Ventresca Tuna consists of lovingly treated yellowfin tuna belly carefully preserved in jars with olive oil and salt. This tuna in olive oil is very special, indeed!

Our favorite tuna from the United States is the line caught wild albacore tuna from the Jacobsen Salt Co. This certified Dolphin Safe tuna is hand-packed at a micro-cannery in Garibaldi, Oregon.

Two of our Spanish tuna brands are Ortiz and Serrats. Ortiz tuna is sustainably harvested and generally caught using a line and pole. Lest you think tuna is always sold on its own, check out Ortiz's Piquillo Peppers Stuffed with Tuna!

What do you know? Serrats also combines tuna with piquillo peppers! The other Serrats tuna offerings tend to be more of what we expect of tuna, only on an elevated level. Like Ortiz, Serrats catches their white tuna in the Bay of Biscay using a traditional line and pole.

Two popular Italian tuna brands are Callipo and Rio Mare. Callipo tuna is cleaned and packed by hand, upholding a tradition for quality that dates back to 1913. One of the more unusual Italian tuna in a jar products you'll find anywhere is Callipo's Tuna with Potato and Rosemary.
