Description

Morelli Pici is a traditional Tuscan pasta that looks like thick, hand-rolled spaghetti. Made with Italian durum wheat semolina and dried slowly, it has a dense, satisfying bite and a rustic appearance on the plate. Pici is typically cooked for a longer time — around 22 minutes — and holds up well, even if it’s mixed with sauce and kept warm for a while. The thick strands are ideal for bold, hearty sauces such as garlicky tomato, slow-cooked meat, or rich cheese sauces. It’s also a great way to recreate classic Tuscan dishes at home, such as pici with breadcrumbs or pici with cacio e pepe–style seasoning.
