These chocolate covered gingerbreads are sure to get anyone into the holiday spirit. As you bite into the cookie the taste of chocolate provides a nice sweetness and rich flavor that only gets better due to the warm spices used in the gingerbread. With aromatic spices like cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom present in the cookie the sweet chocolate develops a deeper flavor as the spices help to warm up the chocolate allowing for much subtler flavors to come out. With the added addition of nuts like almonds and cashews you can taste the holiday spirit with each bite.
