San Carlo Italian Truffle Potato Chips come from a Milanese rosticceria, a roast shop, that started frying potatoes in 1936 and grew into one of Italy's best known chip makers. The slices are thin and delicate, carrying black truffle powder, black pepper and yeast extract for an earthy, savory finish that goes well beyond what a standard flavored chip delivers. They are made with no preservatives and the recipe is gluten free. Open them with a glass of prosecco and a plate of salami and you have the Italian version of happy hour. They are good enough to put in a bowl for guests rather than eat out of the bag, though nobody will blame you.
