I love it and will buy more!
This "chicoree" is really delicious. I add it to decaf espresso coffee to create a rich iced latte. It's also great on it's own mixed with hot water and hot milk. Magnifique!
First - Packaging & Shipping: the quality of the packaging was superb. Each jar was individually wrapped in bubble-wrap, and the jars were then tightly boxed, all so that breakage would have been almost impossible. Then, the order was shipped quickly and arrived almost immediately. Second - Quality: as always, the French Instant Leroux Chicory was wonderful. I've tried all of the chicory brands that I could find, and nothing compares to the Leroux. It is, simply, the very best on the market. Once we gave up caffein, Leroux became our go-to brand, and Yummy Bazaar is the best source that we have found in the United States. Conclusion: both the merchant and the product are highly recommended.
I have not been able to drink coffee since 2017 due to stomach issues….I LOVE coffee. I tried multiple “coffee” alternatives and none were satisfying until I found roasted chicory. I LOVE it! It is the perfect alternative, natural and healthy.
I have been off caffeine for over 25 years, but still love a cup of coffee. Chicory is a valid replacement for me, since I remember it from my childhood in after- war, bombed out Germany. It was commonly known as "Kinderkaffee" (children's coffee) and I always preferred it over regular coffee. Laroux takes it one step further with the instant version and that takes all the brewing mess out of the equation. A yummy café-au-lait in the morning is a thing of beauty and starts my day with a huge grin!!
