With at least 400 known varieties of olives growing, Italy is the second on the list of the largest olive oil producers. Olive oil production is especially prominent in the southern region of Apulia, the heel of the Italian boot. Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo - these are only a few unique Italian cultivars that make the country home to premium quality extra virgin olive oil, loved for its herbaceous, floral scent, and high content of cycloartenol. You can browse through our collection of superior Italian olive oils to discover the aromas of Nocellara, Frantoio, and much more!

Frantoio Galantino is a family-owned Italian brand famed for its award-winning extra virgin olive oils from Puglia! Established in 1926, Galantino was founded by Vito Galantino after acquiring a 19th-century mill-house which was later turned into an olive oil mill. Today, the brand continues crafting the best olive oils by carefully handling the olives at their best ripeness, cold-pressing them, and using centrifugal separation to provide the best flavor and aroma in every drop! You can discover a wide assortment of Italy’s favorite products in our online Italian grocery store!

Extra Virgin Olive Oil in Handmade Ceramic Jar by Galantino makes a fantastic gift to an Italian gourmet food lover!
