Description

Edmond Fallot Cornichons Gherkins are exquisitely delicious pickles known for their juicy and crunchy texture. It is a delicate balance between tangy and briny flavors from marinated pearl onions, vinegar, tarragon, and mustard seeds.

Cornichons are traditional French dilled gherkins characterized by their small shape and bumpy exterior. These crunchy pickles have a distinct tart flavor and are commonly served on appetizer platters. According to the New York Food Museum, pickled vegetables are some of the oldest products of humankind, with archeologists believing ancient Mesopotamians consumed pickled food around 2400 B.C. The pickling procedure is commonly used with a myriad of vegetables, including carrots, onions, radishes, beets, and bell peppers, to extend the shelf life of food. A wide assortment of gherkins along with other condiments can be found in our variety of pickles, olives & spreads!

For over 180 years, Edmond Fallot has been producing high-quality condiments for the French as well as the international market.
