Description

De Nigris organic apple cider vinegar is an everyday staple tailor-made for any home cook's pantry. It’s bright, crisp, tangy yet fruity and sweet, with the perfect amount of zesty flair. It’s unfiltered so you also get all the benefits of the naturally occurring good bacteria and protein, also known as the mother!

Traditionally, apple cider vinegar is made simply by fermenting the juice of the apples (adding a bit of yeast will do the trick - the yeast will feed off of the sugar in the juice, and soon enough the acidic taste we’re all familiar with will start to take hold). In the case of De Nigris, fresh organic apples are crushed and allowed to mature naturally in wooden barrels, resulting in a premium quality raw apple cider vinegar! You can find it, along with some of the most intriguing condiments, in our selection of Italian specialty vinegar!

Established over 120 years ago in Naples, De Nigris is currently one of the leading vinegar producers in Italy and views innovation with respect to traditions as its guiding principle. The brand utilizes blends of concentrated grape must and wine vinegar from 7 regional varieties of grapes, making the flavor profile of their products incredibly varied and complex and their quality absolutely impeccable!

Organic apple cider vinegar with mother by De Nigris makes a great addition to most salad dressings as well as soups and some red sauces. Use it in your classic vinaigrette recipe with some luxurious Italian olive oil and elevate even the simplest of salads or feel free to find plenty of other flavors to pair your favorite vinegar with in our online Italian food store!
