Description

Morelli Strozzapreti is a twisted pasta shape made with Tuscan durum wheat semolina and fresh wheat germ. Each strand is tightly rolled and slightly curved, creating plenty of nooks for sauce to settle into. During cooking, you may notice a gentle wheat aroma and a light green tint to the water from the wheat germ. The pasta stays firm and pleasantly chewy, making it a good match for both simple and more elaborate sauces. Try it with sausage and fennel, tomato and basil, or creamy vegetable sauces where the twists can trap bits of flavor in every bite.
