Taiwanese Dan Dan Noodles

For Pork:
- 8 oz ground pork
- 2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons hoisin sauce
For sauce
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Steps
Step 1
Heat a teaspoon of oil in a skillet and heat over medium heat and brown the ground pork. Add hoisin sauce, soy sauce and 1/2 teaspoon Tomax Five Spice Powder and continue to cook until the meat is crispy. Remove the pork and set aside.
Step 2
Cook the noodles according the package instructions. Add 2 or 3 baby bok choy (optional) to the boiling water. Drain and set aside. Reserve a cup of the cooking water.
Step 3
Add 1/3 cup of the cooking water to the pork skillet. Add 2 tablespoons Ming Teh Taiwanese Sesame Sauce, 2 tablespoons Fried Bean Sauce in Soybean Oil by Ning Chi, 1/2 Tomax Five Spice Powder and the sauce ingredients and whisk to combine. Taste and adjust seasoning if you like. Note: you're not cooking the sauce!
Step 4
Divide the noodles into 4 servings. Add the pork, baby bok choy and sauce. Toss the noodles with the sauce before eating.
