Description

Venchi Salted White Chocolate Bar is far more than white chocolate with salt on top: at least 25 percent of it is nuts, pistachio, Piedmont PGI Hazelnut and Mediterranean almond, all roasted and lightly salted. That quarter of roasted nut is what fixes the usual problem with white chocolate, which is that it is sweet and then nothing else happens. The salt and the roast give it somewhere to go. The house has made chocolate in Turin since 1878. If you have quietly written white chocolate off, this is the bar worth one square to reconsider. It is also very good crumbled over strawberries.
