Venchi 85% Venezuela Extra Dark Chocolate Bar is built on cocoa masses of Venezuelan origin, from the country most people reach for first when arguing about the world's finest cocoa. At eighty-five percent there is almost no sugar to hide behind, and what comes through is fruity and floral with creamy and dried-fruit notes rather than flat bitterness. Venchi suggests pairing it with aged spirits, passito wine or fruit teas, which is worth taking seriously.
