Description

Schluckwerder chocolate marzipan loaf is a chewy and sweet loaf of treat with a deliciously light milk chocolate coating for the most refined flavor and finish.

Marzipan is a type of sweet confection primarily consisting of honey, sugar, and ground almonds. It’s commonly used as a filling for candies as well as for making and designing cakes. This delicious dessert is mainly considered to have been invented in Lubeck, Germany, where during the 15th-century famine, marzipan became an optimal replacement for bread. Although the origin story of marzipan is not certain, it has been enjoyed by many cultures worldwide, especially on holidays. A wide selection of German marzipan can be found in our marzipan section online at Yummy Bazaar!
