Polara Sicilian Lemon Italian Soda, 6.7 fl x 4 is bottled in Modica, in the Ragusa province of southeastern Sicily, using fruit grown on the island. Fifteen percent Sicilian lemon juice is a serious amount for a soda, and you taste it: sharp, rind-forward, with real bite behind the sweetness, far closer to squeezed lemonade than to anything from a supermarket cooler. It is alcohol free. One pack holds four crown-capped glass bottles. Serve it very cold on its own, or use it as a mixer: it makes an excellent base for a tall drink with gin or vodka and a sprig of mint. Sicilian lemons taste like this for a reason.
