Description

Polara Pink Grapefruit Italian Soda, 6.7 fl x 4 comes from Modica, in Sicily's southeastern corner, where the bottler has been working since 1953. It leans tart and faintly bitter, far closer to a squeezed grapefruit than to anything candied, and the pale blush color comes from black carrot extract rather than a synthetic dye. The bubbles are fine and persistent, so it stays crisp down to the last sip. The label reads bibita analcolica gassata, which simply means carbonated non-alcoholic soft drink. One pack of four glass bottles. Serve it very cold on its own, or pour it over ice with a splash of Campari and a slice of grapefruit.
