Butter Chicken concentrated curry paste is a thick paste of ground spices in oil - a unique blend especially made to be used as a base for delicious, authentic tasting butter chicken curry. Butter chicken is also known as makhan murg and is a popular curry dish featuring a mild tomato sauce with spices.

For Butter chicken curry - serves 2 You need:

  • 4 tbsp of Patak's curry paste for butter chicken
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil,
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 8 oz cubed chicken breast
  • 1/3 cup water 3 tbsp cream
  1. In a medium size pan, gently heat oil and butter.
  2. Add chicken and cook until lightly browned
  3. Stir in Patak's curry paste for butter chicken, cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add water and cream.
  5. Simmer gently for 15 minutes until cooked. Add more water if necessary.
  6. Serve with hot rice or naan bread.
