Mitica Valencianos Sea Salt Crackers are long, hand formed batons baked in Spain from a dough built on extra virgin olive oil rather than a cheap seed oil, and you can taste the difference. The shape is the point: a sturdy, extra crunchy stick that will scoop a soft washed rind cheese or a thick spread without snapping in your hand halfway through. Sea salt and yeast give a clean, bready flavor that keeps out of the way of an aged Manchego or a slab of quince paste. Valenciano translates as from Valencia.
