Mitica Valencianos Rosemary Crackers are long, hand-formed sticks from Spain, made with a rich dough of extra virgin olive oil and fresh rosemary. The shape makes them far more useful than a round table cracker: sturdy enough to scoop soft cheese, carry a slice of jamon, or snap over a bowl of soup. The bake is dense and audibly crisp, and the rosemary makes them herbal and savory rather than plain. Valencianos simply means Valencian, after the region the style comes from. Serve them with Manchego and membrillo, alongside a bowl of olives and a glass of cold fino sherry, or break them over a tomato soup instead of croutons.
