La Molisana 100% Italian Wheat Curly Lasagna, Oven Ready #222, 9 oz (255 g)

Skip the stockpot and go straight to layering: Curly Lasagna No. 222 is designed to soften in the oven, absorbing moisture from your sauce as it bakes. Each sheet features waved edges that trap bechamel, ricotta, or meat sauce, preventing ingredients from slipping out the sides. La Molisana forms the dough on wide rollers, stamps wavy strips, then dries them gently to preserve flexibility so the sheets do not crack when layered dry. One box fits a standard 9-by-13-inch dish perfectly—no trimming required. Assembly tips: spread a thin layer of sauce on the pan bottom to start hydration; alternate pasta, filling, and sauce, finishing with cheese. Bake covered for 45 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit, uncover, and brown an additional 10 minutes. For vegetable lasagna, keep sauces slightly loose since vegetables release less liquid during baking. If any sheets snap during handling, save the pieces: simmer them in vegetable broth the next day for a rustic soup. The carton uses sturdy, plain board with a viewing window sealed by clear film, so you can see the golden hue of the pasta without exposing it to pantry dust. Store unused sheets flat; stacking heavy items on top might warp the curls. Whether you build a classic three-cheese bake or an imaginative pesto chicken version, this oven-ready format shaves boiling time while keeping true Italian texture intact.
