This very special ham is made of 100% pure Iberico pigs; the Spaniards call it Pata Negra. These pigs are descendants of the wild boar, and though domesticated, they still retained the black color of the boar, and of course the incredible taste! What makes this ham so incredibly special is that the pigs roam free in the Dehesa natural oak forrest in Western Spain and are feed on mostly acorn, which gives their meat that special, incredible taste and makes the product so valuable.
