Fiasconaro D&G Apple & Cinnamon Panettone works candied apple and cinnamon into a slow-leavened dough, sold in Italy as Panettone alle Mele e Cannella and packed in the Dolce & Gabbana tin that turned Sicilian panettone into a design object. Apple and cinnamon is a combination you already know, so this is the easiest of the D&G range to love if candied citrus has never appealed to you. It is baked in Castelbuono, in the Madonie mountains of Sicily. The tin is half the gift and people keep them for years. Warm a slice gently before serving and the cinnamon fills the whole kitchen.
