Description

Falcone Cantucci Dark Chocolate Biscotti are crisp twice-baked Italian cookies studded generously with dark chocolate, made the way bakers in Abruzzo have long done it. Butter, honey and cane sugar round out the flour, so each bite tastes buttery and toasty before the chocolate turns bittersweet. They are sturdy enough to dip, which is how Italians eat them: into hot espresso, cappuccino or a small glass of sweet wine at the end of dinner. Good with tea in the afternoon too, and they keep well in a sealed tin.
