Description

Alce Nero passata is a traditional Italian tomato puree made from organically grown and locally sourced sun-ripened Italian tomatoes. This condiment carries refreshing aromas and delicate sweetness.

Unlike ordinary tomato sauce, passata is a unique Italian condiment, standing out with its thick texture and concentrated flavor profile. It's made from freshly harvested tomatoes, one of the country's favorite fruit. According to traditional recipes, for perfect passata, tomatoes should be pureed raw, not after cooking. That's why authentic Italian passata-based sauces carry intense flavor, equivalent to fresh fruit. You can find more Italian passata in our carefully curated collection!
