Description

Morelli Orecchiette is a small, concave pasta shape from Apulia, made with Italian durum wheat semolina and dried slowly for texture. Each piece looks like a “little ear,” with a center that holds sauce and slightly thicker edges that stay pleasantly firm. Orecchiette is famous for being paired with turnip greens or broccoli rabe and olive oil, but it is just as good with sausage, tomato, or simple vegetable sauces. The shape makes it easy to scoop with a fork, capturing bits of sauce and toppings in every bite. It’s a great pantry staple when you want something a bit more regional than standard shapes.
