Description

Fiasconaro’s classic Italian chocolate Panettone is a fragrant, decadent, and utterly delicious authentic Italian yeast-leavened festive indulgence with the perfect symphony of sweet and chocolatey flavors. Loaded with rich, soft, and chewy chocolate drops, this mouth-watering sweet bread is known for its beautiful golden interior, pleasant aromas, and buttery texture.

Panettone is a traditional sweet Italian bread typically sprinkled with raisins, almonds, and citruses. Although the origin story of this cake is uncertain, its history traces back to 15th century Milan. According to one of the legends, the chef accidentally burned the Christmas cake intended for II Duce’s holiday feast. A young cook, Toni, saved the day by making a sweet loaf from leftover ingredients and raisins, which the Duke named pan de Toni, also known as Panettone today. A wide selection of panettone cakes as well as many other sweet delights can be found in our wide selection of Italian holiday products!

Fiasconaro is one of the most beloved Italian Panettone brands founded in 1953 in Castelbuono, Sicily. The founder, Mario Fiasconaro, started it off as an ice-cream shop and a bakery. However, soon, the brand became one of the pioneers of fabled Italian confections, such as Panettone made with a signature Sicilian recipe. Peruse our online Italian grocery store to discover all the tempting delights from the brand, such as traditional panettones, sweet spreads, and much more!

Fiasconaro’s classic Italian chocolate Panettone makes an exquisite holiday gift option for your family, friends, and loved ones.
