Product Description

SKU: IT-2662

Pitted Leccino olives by Polli are medium-sized, predominantly sweet, purple-black olives produced in Italy. Leccino olives are one of the primary cultivars in Italy and are believed to have originated from the Tuscany region; they are also vastly utilized to produce olive oil.

Along with Spain, Greece & Portugal, Italy is among the four European countries with a significant table olive production - mainly due to the warm Mediterranean climate that provides the perfect environment for olive trees to grow. The most renowned Italian olive varieties include Leccino, Frantoio, Moraiolo, Nocellara, and Coratina, most of which are included in our wide selection of Italian olives.

Being one of the leading producers of vegetable-based products in Italy, Polli has been supplying its customers with open field-grown produce since 1872. On top of olives, their vast selection also includes artichokes from Puglia, carrots from Fucino, mushrooms from Treviso, and many more, also available on Yummy Bazaar

Due to their size and delicate flavor, Leccino olives make a great snack on their own, as well as additions to salads and pizza toppings. When stuffed, they can also be turned into a stunning appetizer! There are also plenty of other flavors to go with your favorite olives in our online Italian food store!
