Product Description
Cerignola olives by Polli, also often referred to as “Bella di Cerignola,” are larger, meatier kinds of green olives with a crunchy texture and delicately sweet yet savory flavor. They originate from the Puglia region and are considered to be its most beloved table olive variety!
With its warm Mediterranean climate, the Italian coast is tailor-made for olive cultivation, so it’s only natural that Italy, along with Spain, Portugal & Greece, is among the four European countries with a significant table olive production. The most renowned Italian olive varieties include Leccino, Frantoio, Moraiolo, Nocellara, and Coratina, most of which are included in our wide selection of Italian olives.
Being one of the leading producers of vegetable-based products in Italy, Polli has been supplying its customers with open field-grown produce since 1872. On top of olives, their vast selection also includes artichokes from Puglia, carrots from Fucino, mushrooms from Treviso, and many more, also available on Yummy Bazaar.
As one of the larger varieties, Polli Cerignola olives make some of the best aperitifs. From almond & pimento to goat cheese, jalapeno, and garlic mixtures, there are plenty of stuffing options for you to experiment with! Not to mention, if cooking takes too long, you can always snack on a few Cerignola olives along the way - they are great on their own, as well as with many other flavors from our online Italian grocery store!
