Patak's Mixed Pickle is an achar, an Indian styled pickle or relish made from a variety of vegetables, ordinarily used to prepare as a tangy dip, or serve as a main meal accompaniment. This spicy and tart pickle is preserved in oil and spices, rather than the European method of preparation in vinegar and salt! Indian pickles are exotic fruits and vegetables preserved with unique spices Use this pickle to prepare a tangy dip or serve as a main meal accompaniment with naan bread or pappadum to add a tart kick to your meal.

For Hot Mixed pickle dip (6 servings), You need:

  • 1 cup (8oz) plain yogurt,
  • 4 tbsp Patak's hot mixed pickles
  1. In a food processor or mixing bowl, combine yogurt and pickle until smooth.
  2. Chill 30 minutes and serve with naan bread, papadums, crackers or veggies.
