Product Description
Monini fig glaze with balsamic vinegar of Modena is a rich, viscous condiment, full of balanced sweetness and acidity of classic balsamic, combined with fruity tastes of fig flavor. It’s thick and glossy, with an inviting purple-black hue and it comes in an easy-to-use, squeezable bottle.
Balsamic glaze is traditionally produced by cooking balsamic vinegar for a long period of time until it reduces and thickens. Afterward, the glaze is sweetened with either honey, maple syrup, or brown sugar (predominantly) and often infused with different flavors like berries, truffle, pomegranate, figs & more - all of which can be found in our selection of Italian balsamic glaze!
Established in 1920, Monini was the first Italian brand to start producing bottled olive oil, which, up until that point, was only sold by the liter from demijohns. The brand started by revolutionizing the market of Italian pantry staples and continues to do so to this day. From monocultivar olive oils to balsamic and wine vinegar, Monini’s selection has it all!
Fig Glaze with balsamic vinegar of Modena by Monini will make a great addition to a variety of aged cheeses, salads, and grilled vegetables. It will also pair incredibly well with fresh berries, stone fruit, and even desserts like ice cream! Not to mention, there are plenty of other intriguing combinations for you to find in our online Italian grocery store!
