Established in 1946 by Tuscan restaurateur Attilio Bindi and his sons, Romano and Rino, Bindi started as a small humble pastry shop on the historic Milanese street Via Larga. But Attilio Bindi wasn’t interested in just making exemplary desserts (though he did it well); he was interested in creating an exemplary brand. Not only did he become known for producing famous cakes and pastries of excellent quality, but became one of the pioneers of food delivery service in Milan, supplying his desserts to the finest restaurants in the city on a bicycle.
