Product Description
Hojicha is a style of Japanese green tea that is roasted over charcoal before steeping. This draws out a smoky sweet flavor and turns the leaves from green to a rich amber. These tea bags are made from only green tea leaves which lets the natural herbal and subtle sweetness in the tea shine through. Commonly known as "Japanese tea" green tea closely related to Japanese culture since its introduction in the 12th century. To make Hojicha tea:
1. Place one tea bag in a cup.
2. Pour boiling water.
3. Steep for 1 min and remove the teabag.
Established in 1790 and one of the oldest and largest Japanese tea manufacturers, Uji no Tsuyu has dedicated itself to creating new types of Japanese teas, like their roasted rice tea, and helping to develop Japanese tea culture. Exporting to more than 50 countries Uji no Tsuyu's teas are enjoyed all across the world.
