A chocolatier, Michele Prochet, extended the little chocolate he had by mixing it with hazelnuts from the Langhe hills south of Turin. Gianduja is considered one of the greatest Italian inventions by many gourmet lovers. This particular gianduja chocolate by Sperlari, a company started in 1836, is one of the very best in Italy.
