Giampaoli is a company that has specialized in the production of biscuits, panettone, nougats, Easter Eggs, doves and ice cream for more than a hundred years.
Since 1900 Giampaoli has been producing sweets respecting the most ancient pastry art, following exclusive recipes and using selected and high quality raw materials. For four generations the Giampaoli family has been close to the people and, thanks to their experience, knows how to carefully capture the needs of consumers and is ready to respond to their requests, in a continuous balance between tradition and innovation.
The story of Giampaoli begins in 1900, when grandfather Ettore, a boy from the historic Garelli pastry shop in Corso Garibaldi in Ancona, wins a lottery lot and decides to open his own bar and pastry shop in via Marconi with the help of his wife Savina. The new restaurant, managed with passion and tenacity, grows with the favor of a territorial context that moves at the rhythms of the nearby railway. The appreciation of the products grows and the name of the family grows, which the sons Alberto, Aldo and Alfredo contribute to spread in the panorama of the confectionery tradition.
If it is true that luck has helped grandfather Ettore in the past, it is by a brilliant intuition that Giampaoli’s activity emerges unscathed from the Second World War. The violent bombings of 1943 destroyed the city of Ancona, razing the station and the surroundings and eliminating trade, but Giampaoli rescued all the machinery, burying it in time in the countryside.
Today, the fourth generation, Paolo Giampaoli is joined by his son Gabriele and his granddaughter Gioia, called to strengthen and consolidate an entrepreneurial family that today also makes use of a close-knit group of collaborators who shares the spirit of dedication and passion that has always characterized the company for over a century, with a gaze projected towards the future and new challenges.
