Ming Teh Broad Bean Paste with chili is a sweet yet savory spicy fermented broad bean paste. With some licorice and natural spices and after fermentation for more than 120 days, the resulting taste is sweet and not greasy, and the aroma of pure sesame oil is irresistable. You may use this sauce to enhance your soy sauce, braises, dip, and noodles. Alternatively, you may use it in cooking many well-known home-cooked dishes such as Mapo tofu, Wugeng Changwang, braised beef and pork, twice-cooked pork, etc. Ming Teh Food company has been around for more than sixty years. Starting off with the famous Okayama Douban Sauce, it has successfully developed a variety of seasoning sauces and side dishes, and further refined their fermentation and pickling technology. The factory is located beside the beautiful Dagang Mountain and their vast brewing and drying fields are blessed by the strong sun in southern Taiwan.
