Baci Perugina's dark chocolate egg is made by creating a thin, hollow egg shell that is then filled with 3 pieces of their fine dark chocolate truffles with hazelnuts. The truffles are made using a mild dark chocolate that balances richness and sweetness. The treat is mixed with and topped with hazelnut adding a nutty and buttery flavor to the already delicious truffle that is finished with a thin coating of dark chocolate. Nuzzled inside a beautiful dark chocolate egg these treats are great for use in Easter baskets, gifts, and decoration.
Originally described as a chocolate punch, in order to better represent the care put into the treats Luisa decided to call the chocolates baci and with the addition of a love note wrapped around each piece both the flavors and message of Baci Perugina have proven true for nearly 100 years. Enjoy both the chocolate and love messages with family and loved ones this Easter season.
Started in 1922 by Luisa Spagnoli, Baci Perugina have dedicated themselves to adding authentic Italian flavors and traditions to the French confection resulting in fine Italian treats made with love since the 1920s.
