Villa Estense Bronze balsamic vinegar by Alico is a delicate and fruity vinegar of Modena, with a perfect balance of sweet & sour flavors and a relative density of 1.18 (Indication of the number of years of aging has been forbidden by the association of Balsamic Vinegar Producers of Modena since the relative density gives a better understanding of product’s quality - higher the density, larger the concentration of the grape must added to the wine vinegar - 1.34 being the highest amount).
Balsamic vinegar of Modena is an IGP (Indication of Geographic Protection) certified Italian condiment, renowned for its quality, full-bodied flavor, and a tried and tested production process. Before hitting the shelves, it’s meant to be kept in wooden casks for at least 60 days and is labeled “invecchiato” - aged - if it stays in the cask for over 3 years. You can find different variations of Balsamic vinegar of Modena in our selection!
Known for their production of premium-quality vinegar, Alico was established in the 1980s’ and has been leading the Italian condiment market since. Within the line of Villa Estense, they produce Gold, Silver, and Bronze variations of IGP certified vinegar, all made in Modena & Reggio Emilia regions, more of which you can find in our online Italian food store!
