Product Description

SKU: FR-1111

A L’Olivier white wine vinegar from Reims is a light, delicate and mellow condiment made from similar grapes often used in the production of champagne. It’s well-balanced with mild acidity and delicately fruity flavors.

Wine vinegars can be made from either white or red wine and are predominantly used in Central and Southern Europe, Israel and Cyprus. The highest quality wine vinegars are usually matured in wooden casks for varying amounts of time, and you can find every variation, including French wine vinegar, in our wide selection

A L’Olivier, the oldest French house of specialty oils and vinegars, was established in Paris in 1822 by Monsieur Popelin, a pharmacist who became one of the pioneers to show the true extent to how stunning olive oils and other well-made condiments could be! Today, the family-owned business is one of France’s primary producers of EVOO, vinegar, and infused oils!

White wine vinegar by A L’Olivier will make a great addition to salad dressings when combined with a drizzle of French olive oil, while also pairing well with creamy white sauces, and marinades for fish and tofu! You can go for these classic pairings or peruse our French grocery store online and find new combinations of your own!
