"If it's good for your palate, it cannot be bad for your soul" is Chocolatier Bonnat's motto. Chocolatier Bonnat has been making chocolates and other fine delicacies since 1884. Rumor has it, their chocolate-inspired adventure started from the very first time Hernan Cortez brought cocoa beans to the Old World! Bonnat's grandmother was the governess of the Spanish court at that time, and her love for chocolate and adventures inspired the love and creativity of chocolate confections for years to come. The Award-winning Grand Crus line was created on the 100th anniversary of Chocolat Bonnat and consisted of high quality chocolates made from cocoa beans of a single origin. This chocolate is a dark chocolate made of 75% cocoa. The Tsachila people refer to themselves as Los Colorados because of the traditional red and blue dyes with which they color their hair. For the last thirty years, Chocolat Bonnat has relied on the Santo Domingo community to gather this rare cocoa. Fruity and floral, but with a pronounced taste of cacao, this chocolate is all sweetness and mellowness.

  • Ingredients: cocoa beans, cocoa butter, sugar.
