Chile & Plum Braised Chicken

Let's be real, cooking can sometimes be a chore. But fear not, Yummy Bazaar has your back! This recipe is not only easy, but is quick and super delicious. Chile & Plum Sauce is something that you might have never heard of, but it is something you will never forget after trying this wonderful recipe. Full of rich flavor with just a touch of smoky heat, the braising sauce is the perfect addition to your meals. Give this Braised Chicken recipe a try, you can thank me later!

Serves: 4

Ingredients: 
8 Chopped skinless chicken thighs
Fischer & Wieser Chile & Plum Braising Sauce (add as much or as little as you'd like, we recommend 2 cups for this recipe)
1/2 Yellow onion, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
Brown rice, as an optional side

 

Directions:

  1. Heat up pan with cooking oil of your choice. Once hot, add the onion and sauté for a few minutes, just until onions are translucent.
  2. Once onions are ready, add chicken thighs and cook for 2 minutes on high heat, seasoning as you deem fit.
  3. Add Chile & Plum Braising Sauce and simmer on medium heat for 30 minutes. 
  4. When chicken is fully cooked, scoop chicken onto a delicious bed of rice for a delicious meal!
